Gennady Gospodarik
Gennady Gospodarik was a prominent banker in Belarus, serving as the first deputy chairman of the board at Belarusbank. He was convicted in 2017 for his involvement in a bribery scandal that implicated several top bank officials. Gospodarik received a sentence of 7.5 years in a high-security colony, but was later pardoned and released in 2019. His post-release life was cut short when he died from complications related to COVID-19 in 2021.
