Genti Krasniqi

Genti Krasniqi, a 62-year-old Albanian national, became notorious for his involvement in a drug trafficking network that operated between Albania and Italy. After being captured in Milan in 2016 for using a luxury apartment to conceal shipments of heroin, he managed to escape and evade authorities, ultimately becoming a fugitive sought by Interpol. In early 2023, Krasniqi was located in Tunja, Colombia, where he had been living under the guise of a tourist. His arrest raised concerns about his connections to narcotics operations in Colombia, a country known for its significant role in the international drug trade.
