Géraldine Giraud

Géraldine Giraud is a French journalist and filmmaker based in Nice, known for her work in documenting the history of Italian bakers who emigrated to the Côte d’Azur. She gained recognition for her film 'Au nom du pain', which explores the exodus of families from Niella Tanaro to Nice due to famine in the late 19th century. Giraud is also the author of the bilingual book 'Le Pain du partage - Il pane dell’esodo', which celebrates the cultural and culinary heritage of these immigrants.
