Gerson Maia

Gerson Maia is a representative of the National Union of Retired Workers, Pensioners, and the Elderly (Sintapi) and has been actively involved in discussions regarding social security issues in Brazil. He recently participated in a meeting of the National Social Security Council (CNPS) where he emphasized the need for an audit concerning the deductions made on retirement benefits, particularly in light of ongoing allegations of fraud associated with the National Institute of Social Security (INSS).
