Gian Carlo Wick

Gian Carlo Wick was an Italian theoretical physicist, recognized for his work in quantum mechanics and particle physics. He succeeded Enrico Fermi as the chair of theoretical physics at the University of Rome and was instrumental in advancing the understanding of particle interactions and the development of quantum field theory.
