Gonzalo Rodríguez Gacha, also known as 'El Mexicano', was a prominent Colombian drug lord and the second-in-command of the Medellín Cartel. Gacha was notorious for his violent tactics and was heavily involved in the drug trade during the height of the cocaine epidemic in the 1980s and early 1990s. He was linked to numerous murders and was a key figure in the conflict between rival drug cartels, particularly against the Cali Cartel, which sought to eliminate him and his associates.
