Gonzalo Rojas
Gonzalo Rojas is a Colombian man whose life was irrevocably altered when his father, also named Gonzalo, was killed in a bombing orchestrated by Pablo Escobar's Medellín cartel in 1989. At just 10 years old, he experienced the profound loss and trauma associated with the drug wars that plagued Colombia. Rojas has since become an advocate for reshaping narratives surrounding Escobar and the drug trade, co-founding narcostore.co, an initiative that aims to educate the public about the victims of violence rather than glorifying the perpetrators.
