Gregorio XII
Gregorio XII, who reigned from 1406 to 1415, was the last pope of the Western Schism, during which multiple claimants to the papacy existed. His eventual resignation helped pave the way for the Council of Constance, which aimed to resolve the schism and restore unity to the Church.
