Griselda López

Griselda López is the mother of Ovidio Guzmán, the son of infamous drug lord Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán. Recently in the news, she was reported to have crossed into the United States with 16 other family members, after Ovidio Guzmán agreed to plead guilty to multiple drug trafficking charges in exchange for a reduced sentence. Her family's relocation has raised concerns and criticism from Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum regarding U.S. policies on dealing with organized crime.
