Guadalupe Arias

Guadalupe Arias is an independent deputy and a member of the Movimiento del Sombrero in Mexico. Recently, she made headlines for inaugurating the first Farmacia del Sombrero outside of Uruapan in San Andrés Coru, Michoacán. This initiative, which began under the leadership of the late Carlos Manzo, aims to provide free access to healthcare and medications through community involvement and donations. Arias has emphasized the importance of local collaboration in maintaining the pharmacy's operations, which include volunteer healthcare professionals and a system for collecting unused medications from the public.
