Guillaume de Nassau

Guillaume de Nassau, born on November 11, 1981, is the newly inaugurated Grand Duke of Luxembourg, following the abdication of his father, Henri. As the seventh sovereign of the Nassau-Weilbourg dynasty, he is expected to symbolize the independence and stability of the state while embodying a new generation of leadership. Educated in Luxembourg and abroad, Guillaume has a diverse background, which includes a military education at Sandhurst and a degree in letters and political science from the University of Angers. He is married to Stéphanie de Lannoy, and together they have two sons.
