Henri de Nassau, born on April 16, 1955, is the former Grand Duke of Luxembourg who abdicated on October 3, 2023, after 25 years of reign. His tenure was marked by a commitment to modernizing the monarchy and maintaining Luxembourg's stability. Henri, who ascended to the throne in 2000, expressed a desire for a quieter life as he approached his 70th birthday, paving the way for his son, Guillaume, to take on the responsibilities of the Grand Duke.
