Guitard
Guitard is noted as the first documented victim of violent death in the region now known as Catalonia, having died from injuries sustained in battle in the valley of Andorra over a millennium ago. He was likely a nobleman and a vassal of the viscount Sunifred, with properties that were bequeathed to various monasteries and churches, including Santa Maria de Ripoll.
