Gurupada Mete

Gurupada Mete was an Indian politician and member of the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal. His political career was cut short when he passed away mid-campaign during the 2021 elections, prompting his wife to contest for the Indus assembly seat, where she garnered significant sympathy support from voters.
