Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi

Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi was a senior Indian politician and a member of the Indian National Congress, who served as the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting. He was known for his significant contributions to Indian politics and governance, particularly in the areas of media and public communication. Following his coma in 2008, his wife, Deepa Dasmunsi, took over his political mantle, winning the Raiganj Lok Sabha seat in 2009.
