Hampi Koneru is an Indian chess grandmaster and one of the leading female players in the world. She made history as the youngest female player to achieve the title of grandmaster in 2002. Koneru has won numerous national and international titles, including the Women's World Rapid Chess Championship. Her achievements have inspired many in the chess community and elevated the status of women's chess in India.
