Hamza Hakimzoda Niyoziy

Hamza Hakimzoda Niyoziy was a prominent Uzbek poet, playwright, and educator born on March 6, 1889. He received his education in various schools and madrasahs in Kokand and Namangan between 1896 and 1906. Niyoziy began his literary career in the early 1900s, producing poetry and plays that addressed themes of freedom, education, and justice. He was actively involved in the Jadid movement, which sought to modernize education and society in Central Asia. His significant works include the novel 'Haqiqat kimda?', various educational texts, and numerous plays that left a lasting impact on Uzbek literature. He also contributed to journals and newspapers as an editor and writer. Niyoziy passed away in 1929, leaving behind a rich literary legacy that continues to inspire generations.
