Hans-Wilhelm Koepcke

Hans-Wilhelm Koepcke was a respected zoologist and researcher, noted for his work in the Amazon rainforest, particularly in the study of wildlife. Together with his wife Maria, he established the Panguana research station in Peru, focusing on ecological research. His daughter, Juliane, survived a plane crash in 1971, an event that became a significant part of their family's legacy.
