Hassan Omar al Bashir

Hassan Omar al Bashir is a former Sudanese president who ruled the country from 1989 until he was ousted in 2019 amid widespread protests against his regime. He is infamous for his role in the Darfur conflict, where his government was accused of orchestrating a campaign of genocide against non-Arab ethnic groups, leading to mass killings and displacements.
