Hassan Saeed Al-Sarayi

Hassan Saeed Al-Sarayi is a local butcher and a prominent figure in the community of Al-Kut, Iraq. Recently, he was in the news for his involvement in the newly opened centralized slaughterhouse and livestock market in Wasit province. This project aims to enhance public health by regulating meat processing and reducing the chaotic practices of animal slaughter that previously posed health risks to residents. Al-Sarayi highlighted the significance of the center in controlling meat quality and preventing the illegal meat trade, thereby contributing to both public health and economic stability in the region.
