Hazem al-Shara

Hazem al-Shara is an economist with a PhD from the American University in Cairo. He is reportedly serving as the chairman of the Investment Authority in Syria, although this has not been officially confirmed. He is known for his appearances alongside his brother, the current Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara, during official visits, including a notable trip to Saudi Arabia in February.
