Jamal al-Shara

Jamal al-Shara is the brother of Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara. He was observed at a controversial cultural event in April, which drew criticism for the presence of individuals associated with the former regime of Bashar al-Assad. The Syrian presidential office later clarified that he does not hold an official position within governmental institutions.
