Heather Nicol

Heather Nicol is the director of the Canadian studies school at Trent University in Ontario. She has commented on the changing perceptions of the Canadian flag, particularly in light of its co-option by certain protest groups, which has created discomfort for many Canadians and influenced their willingness to display the flag.
