Helme Heine

Helme Heine was a celebrated German children's book author and illustrator, renowned for his work on the beloved character Tabaluga. Born in 1930, Heine published over 50 children's and youth books, which have been translated into more than 30 languages, earning him a prominent place in the world of children's literature. His artistic contributions extended beyond books to include screenplays, films, and theater pieces, showcasing his versatility as a storyteller.
