
Henadiy Shapovalov
Henadiy Shapovalov is a Ukrainian military officer who has recently been appointed as the Commander of the Ground Forces of Ukraine by President Volodymyr Zelensky. Born in the Kirovohrad region, he has a solid educational background in military training, having studied at several esteemed institutions, including the Institute of Tank Troops and the National Defense University of Ukraine. Shapovalov also has international experience, having trained at the U.S. Army War College, which prepares senior officers for leadership roles.
