Henry Owuor-Anyumba

Henry Owuor-Anyumba is a Kenyan author and academic who has made significant contributions to the fields of literature and education in Africa. He is best known for his involvement in the literary activism of the 1970s, particularly in advocating for the inclusion of African literature and languages in educational curricula. Alongside Taban lo Liyong and Ngugi wa Thiong'o, he played a pivotal role in challenging colonial literary paradigms and promoting a culturally relevant approach to literature in African institutions.
