Hugo César Macías, also known as El Tuli, was a prominent figure in the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) and served as a key logistical and financial operator for the organization. Following the death of the cartel's leader, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes (El Mencho), Macías played a crucial role in orchestrating violent retaliatory actions against Mexican military forces, including the establishment of roadblocks and attacks across multiple states. His attempts to evade capture ultimately led to his demise during a confrontation with security forces, where he was found in possession of significant cash and firearms.
