Hussein Rahhal

Hussein Rahhal is a leader of the Palestinian Ba'ath Party who lived in Deheishe during Habib Bourguiba's controversial visit in 1965. Rahhal participated in protests against Bourguiba's calls for a pragmatic approach to the Palestinian cause, believing that the masses were right to reject what he viewed as a defeatist stance.
