Ido Gefen

Ido Gefen is an Israeli writer and cognitive science doctoral student at Columbia University, recognized for his literary contributions. His debut collection of short stories, 'The Beach of Jerusalem' (2017), received significant acclaim and has been translated into several languages. In 2023, he became the first Hebrew author to win the Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature, highlighting his impact on contemporary literature. Gefen's story 'Debbie's Dream House' is set to be adapted into a film by Oscar-winning director Charlie Kaufman.
