Ignacy Domeyko

Ignacy Domeyko was a Polish-Lithuanian geologist and educator who became a prominent figure in Chilean history after emigrating there following the failed November Uprising. He played a significant role in the development of Chile's education system and is regarded as a national hero in Chile.
