Ilhom Haydarov

Ilhom Haydarov is a prominent Uzbek diplomat who has recently been appointed as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Turkey. With a career spanning several years in various diplomatic roles, he previously served as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and has a robust educational background, including degrees from Tashkent State University and the Russian Foreign Trade Academy. Haydarov has also held significant positions in Uzbekistan's trade and economic sectors and is known for his leadership in the Uzbek textile industry as the head of 'Uzbekengilsanoat.' He succeeds Alisher A’zamxo‘jayev, who served as the ambassador to Turkey and Bulgaria.
