Ilya Kazantsev

Ilya Kazantsev is a 20-year-old cadet from the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School who was arrested for the murder of his commander, Ivan Selin. He allegedly tied the parachute cords of Selin's main and reserve parachutes out of personal animosity, leading to Selin's fatal jump during a training exercise. Kazantsev has been charged with murder and faces up to 20 years in prison.
