Iqbal Masih was a Pakistani child laborer who became a prominent activist against child exploitation. Sold into slavery at the age of four, he escaped and became a symbol of the fight against child labor, speaking out about the harsh realities faced by children in the textile industry. Tragically, he was murdered in 1995 at the age of 12, which sparked international outrage and brought attention to the issue of child slavery.
