
Ivan Danchov
Ivan Danchov was a prominent Bulgarian architect and professor who recognized the exceptional talent of Penyo Atanasov Kolev. In 1927, he, along with engineer Mincho Zayakov, sought out Kolev to take on the challenging task of constructing the Shipka Monument. Danchov's influence in the architectural community helped elevate Kolev's career, allowing him to lead significant construction projects despite the difficult conditions of the time.
