Iwona Piórko
Iwona Piórko is the newly appointed Ambassador of the European Union to Moldova, announced on August 30, 2023. She previously served as the EU Ambassador to Singapore and has held various significant roles within the European Commission, including leading the international affairs unit in the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs. A native of Poland, Piórko expressed her honor in taking on the role and looks forward to collaborating with the exceptional team of the EU Delegation in Moldova.
