Jaime Cruz Villalpando

Jaime Cruz Villalpando is the mayor of Villa Hidalgo, Jalisco, affiliated with the Movimiento Ciudadano party. Recently, he was thrust into the spotlight due to a harrowing situation involving his family, as he was kidnapped alongside two municipal officials by the Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) in a bid to secure the release of his son and to demand the dismissal of the local Secretary of Public Security.
