James 'Whitey' Bulger

James 'Whitey' Bulger was a notorious American mobster and leader of the Winter Hill Gang in Boston, known for his violent criminal enterprises and long evasion of law enforcement. He was involved in various crimes, including racketeering, extortion, and murder and became one of the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives. Bulger's life inspired numerous books and films, and he was ultimately captured in 2011 after 16 years on the run. He was sentenced to life in prison in 2013 and was murdered in 2018 while incarcerated.
