Jamshid

Jamshid is a legendary figure in Persian mythology, credited with founding the ancient celebration of Nowruz, the Persian New Year. According to the Shahnameh, an epic poem by Ferdowsi, Jamshid was a great king who brought prosperity and happiness to his people, and he declared Nowruz as a day of celebration marking the arrival of spring.
