Janell Hobson

Janell Hobson is a professor of women's studies at the University at Albany, State University of New York. She is recognized for her scholarship on race, gender, and women's issues, and she has been a vocal advocate for the historical recognition of figures such as Harriet Tubman, whom she describes as one of America's greatest heroes and liberators.
