Janybek

Janybek is recognized as the first khan of the Kazakh Khanate, emerging from the lineage of Uruz-khan and Koyrichak. His ascension to power was influenced by the political upheaval following the Battle of the Terik in 1395, which led to the decline of the Golden Horde and the formation of new identities, including that of the Kazakh people.
