Javier Caraballo is a Panamanian attorney and public official who served as the Attorney General of the Nation from 2021 to 2024. With over 25 years of experience in the Public Ministry, he has held various high-level positions, including Chief Prosecutor for Drug Crimes and Special Prosecutor for Organized Crime. Caraballo holds a law degree and a Master's in Procedural Law from the University of Panama, alongside studies in Criminal Sciences. Recently, he was appointed as Panama's new ambassador to Austria, marking a significant transition in his career as he prepares to engage with international organizations based in Vienna.
