Javier Flores del Águila is a Trujillo-based neurologist and the creator of the renowned Peruvian comic 'Selva misteriosa.' He holds a significant fondness for 'El Eternauta,' having collected various editions after being introduced to it by a friend, which sparked his interest in its political reinterpretations, particularly the 1969 version illustrated by Alberto Breccia.
