Jawanna Hardy

Jawanna Hardy is a veteran and community activist in Anacostia, where she leads the organization Guns Down Friday, aiming to steer young men away from crime and violence. Through mentorship and support, she works to empower youth by providing them with opportunities for personal growth and rehabilitation, while also advocating against the harsh policing tactics employed in the area.
