Jean Bernaud Gelin

Jean Bernaud Gelin is an entrepreneur and math tutor based in Mexicali, Mexico, who fled Haiti in search of a better life. After a challenging journey across multiple countries and facing the harsh realities of U.S. immigration policy, he decided to stay in Mexico. Gelin became the first Haitian to enroll at the Autonomous University of Baja California, where he excelled academically and started his own tutoring business, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity.
