Jeanne Edwige Sogue is the widow of Anicet Georges Ekane, actively advocating for the release of her late husband's remains so that he can be buried properly. Following Ekane's untimely death in detention, she, along with their children and family members, is working to overcome administrative and judicial restrictions that currently prevent them from laying him to rest.
