Jeffrey Skilling

Jeffrey Skilling is a former American businessman who served as the CEO of Enron Corporation, where he played a pivotal role in the company's rapid rise and subsequent fall due to an accounting scandal. Known for his aggressive business strategies and innovative financial practices, Skilling was implicated in the company's fraudulent activities that led to its bankruptcy in 2001. He was convicted of multiple counts of fraud and conspiracy in 2006 and was sentenced to 24 years in prison, although his sentence was later reduced, and he was released in 2019.
