Jērgs Vidmanis (1973) is a prominent and versatile musician known for his exceptional clarinet skills, composition, and conducting. He studied clarinet with notable instructors in Munich and at Juilliard in New York. Vidmanis has performed with prestigious orchestras, including the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra and the Vienna Philharmonic, and has collaborated with renowned conductors such as Daniel Barenboim. As of February 2024, he has embarked on a three-year collaboration with the State Chamber Orchestra Sinfonietta Rīga as an artistic partner, showcasing his talent and passion for music.
