Tragically, just one day after his arrival on April 19, 2023, he became one of the five victims of a violent massacre in a residential complex, where armed assailants indiscriminately opened fire. His hopes of providing for his family were cut short in this incident linked to the region's ongoing issues with drug-related violence.
