Joe Black

Joseph Forbes Black was a gifted musician and composer known for his exceptional bass guitar skills. Diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and a substance use disorder, Joe faced numerous challenges throughout his life, including periods of homelessness and mental health struggles. He was deeply loved by his family, including his mother Jude and father Andy, who were committed to supporting him. Tragically, Joe passed away at the age of 39 from an overdose in a homelessness hostel, raising serious questions about the support systems in place for vulnerable individuals.
