Joe Lynskey
Joe Lynskey was a former monk from Belfast who became involved with the IRA and was abducted, murdered, and secretly buried during the Troubles in Northern Ireland in 1972. His case is part of the ongoing investigation by the Independent Commission for the Location of Victims’ Remains, which recently confirmed that remains exhumed in Co Monaghan are not his.
